RUNTIME FOR GOLDWORKS III / GCLISP DEVELOPER

RUNTIME tools for GCLISP DEVELOPER and GOLD WORKS III provide an easy, cost-effective way to distribute your GCLISP and GOLDWORKS III applications to a broad base of multiple end users.

Both RUNTIME products allow developers to transform applications built in either of Gold Hill's powerful development environments into high performance stand alone applications, easily and quickly invoked from Microsoft Windows.

RUNTIME applications built for end-users do not require the entire development environment. End users need no special knowledge of the development environment and have no access to the underlying program source code.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Executable Image:
Runtime transforms a series of LISP source and binary files ("LSP" and "F5S") to a single LISP image enabling end user applications to be invoked from the Microsoft Windows Program Manager, with a minimum number of support files.

Integrated Applications:
GOLDWORKS III RUNTIME applications can interface with external file formats including Lotus 1-2-3 and dBASE (16-bit version only). Both GOLDWORKS III RUNTIME and GCLISP RUNTIME applications can interface with Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs) using the Foreign Function Interface, allowing you to integrate C code into your applications. They can also interface with Microsoft Windows Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) allowing your application to communicate with other Microsoft Windows applications.

Source Code Protection:
End users do not have access to the underlying source code. You also have the ability to restrict end users from access to the LISP listener, allowing you to make the development environment completely transparent to the end user.

Minimum system requirements are systems with either GCLISP Developer or GOLDWORKS III.
